The Most Wonderful Winter Break

The best winter break would be, at home with four feet of snow, no school for the rest of my life, all the hot cocoa, and apple cider you could ever want. Making snow forts and snow balls all day long, and never have the sun go down or have to go to bed. Going sledding every day, and never have to go home to eat dinner.
But then after a couple of weeks, I would want to have Christmas, and get all the gifts I have ever wanted, and have all my family there opening gifts also. Then for dinner, we would have ham, and sweet potatoes, rolls, fruit salad, and pie. We would have sweet potato pie and cherry, apple, and cream pies, we would have all the food any one would ever want, and we would never run out.
We would make cookies, after Christmas, all the cookies in the world. Gingerbread, and sugar, snicker doodles, and ginger snaps. Chocolate chip, and cake. We would never run out of any thing. There would be white cake, and chocolate, yellow, and confetti. That would be the best Winter vacation ever.

Halloween costumes

I think the best Halloween costume I have ever worn, would probably have to be last years. I was a clown, because I had three days until Halloween, and we had a brightly colored rainbow wig down stairs in my basement, and my friend had a clown costume, that even had a bow tie. I went to the store and bought a big read clown nose, that didn't squeak, and came with face paint and every thing. At first no one recognized me, because I had my entire face painted, and a bright, curly, crazy/ wild, rainbow wig, and a big red clown nose.

When I went trick-or-treating, the only way my neighbors recognized me, was either that I had told them I was going to be a clown for Halloween, or they saw that I wad with my siblings, and parents, so they knew that it was me. I had so much fun, putting on the make-up, before school, and again after school, because some of it had worn of, or been rubbed off at school. My entire face was painted white, except for underneath my nose, because it would not stick on the paint. around my mouth was red paint, around one of my eyes was blue, and around the other eye was I think green. My costume was striped on one half, and poka-dotted on the other half, and then I just wore my tennis shoes, becausse they are good walking shoes.

Top ten books

Out of the top ten books, I have not read any of them. "Graceling" sound like it would be a very interesting book. From the reviews I read for the most part, everybody liked it alot. It sounds like it is an adventure, and a mystery. I think it is directed to not just girls, but also boys.

There is a girl named Katsa, who has one blue eye and one green eye. She is a warrior-girl. Gracelings, are people with special talents or skills such as, swimming, storytelling, and dancing. Kasta Grace has an unusual power. the king wants her to help her with his evil plan.

Something beautiful

Have you ever studied a skunk's eyes? Write about some item you find beauty in that many others might not.

I think that butterflies are very pretty, but some people think they are ugly and gross. I like the color of their wings, and how they flap, and fly. I wish I could fly just like a butterfly can, and that is one reason that I really like butterflies. I hate caterpillars, but once they come out of their cocoon, they are beautiful little butterflies.

The other day when I was coming home from church, I saw a huge ugly caterpillar. It was absolutely disgusting, but when i held it, it felt cool.

Family vacation

Write about a family vacation. It can be the best, the worst, the funniest... make sure you describe what happened and make your readers feel like they were there with you.

The bet family vacation I have ever been in would be when I went to Disneyland. It was the first time I had ever been to Disneyland, so it was very fun. My grandparents took us over spring break in 2007. And I am excited to go again in October. We tried to go on every ride, but some were closed, others were to big, and some we just didn't have time to go on. Although we did go on Buss light year astro blaters many times.

On the last night, we stayed to watch Fantasia, the water show, and the fire work show over the princess castle. Then after the to shows, we went shopping, and I started to fall asleep againstone of the posts at the check out, because it was so late. Some teenagers bhind us started laughing to themselves, because I was falling asleep. My brother and sister fell asleep in the stroller.

reading books

When I was little my parents read to me until I was in preschool, then I started to read to them and my little baby brother. I would read little paper stories, then nursery rhymes. when I was in kindergarten my teacher gave us all color books, to read to our families, and to learn our colors. I also read paper back books like "The Little Golden Books".

Then one day my dad came home with another "Golden Book", it was called color kittens. That soon became my most favorite book. They would read it to me, until, I thought that I could read it all by my big girl self. I loved that book almost more than anything else. It is about kittens who paint the world. They paint the cherries on the cherry tree, they paint the leaves different colors for fall, and then, one of them spills red and blue paint, and makes a beeautoful new color that they can paint with.

Books

Tell me about the best book you've ever read. Give me a little of the plot, but spend most of your time telling my why you liked it and what specifically made it good. (If you don't have a favorite book, then do this for the book you are currently reading.)

The best book I have ever read is probably The little house on the prairie books. It is about this little girl and her family, who moved all over the place, and their journeys. I like this series, because I have been to many of the places that she lived. The books are very adventures, and funny. There are ten books in the series, plus the little extra books. One of the little extras talks only about the different Christmases they had.

Right now, I am reading the first book, Little House in the Big Woods. I have read all of the books before, but am reading them again, because I like them alot, and because my mom read them to me and my siblings the first time. I am almost done with the first book. So far, Laura, The girl who wrote the books, and her sisters, went to town for thier first time. To her it took almost three years to get to town, because she is very exited, and because thy live in a big forrest.
